Camping Father's Day weekend

These are the photos from our last camping trip. I scrapped quite a few, but certainly not as many pictures as I took in total. I am still going strong and having a great time playing with my new camera. Occasionally I have user issues, but the camera itself does a great job. The other day Justin told me he knew what one of my favorite things was....my camera :) He was right!!
We are getting ready to go camping again before and again, after the 4th of July!! We hope to find some fireworks during the 4th and plan to hang out at home to celebrate! Justin is doing a soccer camp this week, he really seems to be enjoying it and learn a lot of techniques.
If you want to see the pictures closer up, just click or double click on the photos and a new screen with a larger picture will pop up.
Take care! Danielle

Hi!

Hello! We had a great weekend camping. I will get some photos of our weekend posted soon. Justin started T-ball on Monday and had a great time. Several of his classmates are on his team, so it should be fun for him. Already, he shows a big improvement over last year. Right before his game Justin showed me that he wiggled his second tooth out. The Toothfairy made a visit to our house and brought 4 shiny quarters.

We received a message over the weekend that Justin had won tickets to a contest he submitted a picture of Thomas the Tank Engine to. I was a little confused because I didn't remember submitting any pictures, but then we discovered that Grandma Clippard had kindly sent it in. Justin won 4 tickets to see Thomas and Friends Live! this coming weekend. We are really looking forward to the show.

Baseball game photos

Here are some of the pictures from the Tigers game last Friday. We had a lot of fun at the game.

found some more pages I never posted

I was cleaning up some files and found these pages that I never shared. :) Megan and Justin had their friend Casey over and they were having a great time playing on the water slide in the backyard. If you click on the photo, you will get a second larger screen to better see the details and read the journaling :)

June zoo pictures

Can't sleep tonight, so I finished up some pages of pictures we took at the zoo recently. The kids love to go and see all the animals. PS In case you can't tell, I am still loving my new camera :)

Summer Vacation is finally here!!

Summer vacation is finally here! Yeah! I am so ready for some not so hectic mornings and maybe a little sleeping in! Justin and I had to get up for the school bus this morning, but Megan and Kyle slept in until 9:00am, I enjoyed the few extra minutes of peace and quiet! After Justin's last day of school we met some friends at the outdoor Aquatic Center and enjoyed an afternoon splashing in the water. We didn't leave until after 3 pm and Kyle's normal nap time is 1:30pm, so he was asleep before we ever got home, luckily he transfered to his bed and went right back to sleep, not so lucky that Megan fell asleep after we got home. I am sure she will be up until midnight now. Oh well! Tomorrow we are off for a long weekend of camping. The forecast looks good, so I am really looking forward to it. Happy Father's Day to all the men I know!

Friday

I wanted to post Megan's pictures from the last couple of days. She really enjoyed her water day at preschool....all the kids had fun! And she refused to sing, but she got up on stage with her class for the performance. I have to add that she has seven other kids in her 3 & 4 year old preschool class and none of them sang either. The only ones that sang were the kids in the 4 & 5 year old class. So maybe next year :) Megan loved her new dress and she did look beautiful. Have a good weekend. We are off the the Tigers game :)

Hello

I haven't posted in awhile, but not too much newsworthy has been going on. About 10 days ago Kyle, my monkey child, was climbing again. He waited until I turned my back and then he scaled the drawers onto the counter and across my stove.....my HOT stove. We have since then been nursing a big burn on the top of his right foot. It is healing great, it is just taking much longer than I wish it would. The ouchy on his foot hasn't slowed him down too much, but I have not seen him climbing on the counter since then.....so hopefully a lesson was learned.

Megan's last day of preschool is tomorrow. She is excited as they are having a "Water Day" and she gets to wear her swimming suit to school. On Friday we also have a Celebration Day for preschool and we get to go and hear the kids perform some songs and have a potluck dinner. Hopefully, I will get some good photos of both days.

Justin doesn't get out of school until June 14th and he can't wait as T-Ball starts the following week. He is really excited this year about playing....partly because so many of his friends from school will be on his team and partly because he really seems to like Baseball. Gary and I are taking him to a Tigers game on Friday. We haven't told him yet, but I am sure he is going to be really excited. I just don't want him telling his sister, because she wasn't invited on this trip. She doesn't really care for baseball, nor does she like to sit still.

Last Saturday we made another trip to the Toledo zoo, it was a great day to be outside and we had a good time. We were able to ride the train and the Merry-Go-Round this time, so all the kids were quite pleased about that.

I have finished some scrapbook pages from May that I am planning to post today as well. You may have already seen some of the pictures, but then again maybe not :) I am really enjoying my new camera, it makes it even more fun to take pictures!! Some of you may be groaning if you know who much I already liked to take pictures :)

This coming weekend we have a birthday party and a graduation party to go to on Saturday and on Sunday we are headed to Frankenmuth for an early Father's Day chicken dinner at the Baverian Inn. Yummy! This is one of Megan's favorite places to eat and I have to say I enjoy it as well. Father's Day weekend we will be camping in Port Huron, I sure hope it doesn't rain!

Have a good weekend!
